人間ドック

What is Ningen Dock?

Dock (in English) means a facility for inspecting and repairing ships , and Ningen (in Japanese) means human. The Japanese compare health check-ups to maintaining a ship after a long journey at sea. A comprehensive medical checkup, known as a “Ningen Dock,” is a specialized, detailed, accurate, and effective health screening model that aims to detect cancer and other potential diseases at a very early stage—before any symptoms appear. It combines the expertise of experienced physicians with advanced diagnostic technologies such as MRI, CT scans, and endoscopy.

ドック（英語）は船の点検や修理を行うための施設を意味し、ニンゲン（日本語）は人間を意味します。健康診断を長い船旅の後の船のメンテナンスに例えます。人間ドックは、症状が現れる前の非常に早い段階で体内のがんや潜在的な病気の発見を目指すため、経験豊富な医師とMRI、CT、内視鏡検査などの最新機器を組み合わせた、包括的、専門的、詳細、正確かつ効果的な健診モデルです。

Reservations/予約について

Inbound visitors from overseas cannot make reservations directly online.
As a general rule, please apply through one of the inbound service companies listed in our approved vendor list.

Fees/料金

• For individuals who do not understand Japanese (including medical terminology), the fee will be twice the standard Japanese rate (including optional services, tax included). For details, please contact the Ningen Dock Department.
• In addition to the Ningen dock fee, a service fee charged by the inbound service company (including interpreter arrangements) will apply. Please contact each company for details.

• 日本語ができない方（医療用語が理解できない方）は、日本人表示金額（オプション含む）の2倍（税込）を申し受けますので、ご了承ください。詳細は、人間ドック室へお問い合わせください。
• 人間ドック費用とは別に、インバウンド事業会社の手数料（通訳手配含）がかかります。詳細は各社へお問い合わせください。

Interpreter/通訳

• If the examinee does not understand Japanese (including medical terminology), one interpreter per examinee is required. Please consult with the inbound service company regarding interpreter arrangements.
• Interpreter contact information will be requested at the time of application.
• Due to the nature of the examinations, female examinees are requested to have a female interpreter.

• 日本語ができない方（医療用語が理解できない方）の場合、必ず受検者1名につき1名の通訳をご用意ください。通訳手配については、インバウンド事業会社へご相談ください。
• お申込みの際、通訳の方のご連絡先をお伺いします。
• 検査の内容上、女性の受検者の場合は女性の通訳手配をお願いしています。

Pre-visit Materials/事前資料送付

• Guidance documents, medical questionnaires, consent forms, and specimen containers (urine/stool) will be sent to the designated inbound service company. Please inform us in advance whether you prefer Japanese or English materials.
  *If you wish to have materials sent to your hotel, please confirm in advance whether the hotel accepts mail deliveries.

• ご案内、問診票、検査同意書、検尿・検便の容器等は、ご指定のインバウンド事業会社へ送付します。あらかじめ日本語もしくは英語の希望をお伝えください。
  ＊滞在ホテルにご送付希望の場合は、あらかじめホテルの郵便物受け取りの可否をご確認お願いいたします。

Completion of Medical Questionnaire/問診票の記載

• Please ensure that the medical questionnaire distributed in advance is fully completed.
• If the form is incomplete or missing, you will be asked to fill it out on-site, which may result in extended examination time (over one hour) or inability to complete certain tests.

• 事前配布しています問診票の記載を必ず済ませてください。
• 記載がない、記載に不足がある場合は、その場で記載が必要となるため、そのお時間を頂くこととなります。受検時間が1時間以上延長する、受検できない項目が発生する可能性ありますのでご注意ください。

On the Day of Examination (Reception) /受検日当日（受付）

• Please arrive at the Human Dock reception within the designated time with ample time to spare.
• You will be required to present an original photo ID (e.g., passport, residence card).

• 時間に余裕をもって、ご案内の指定時間内に人間ドック受付までお越しください。
• 写真付きの身分証明書（パスポート、在留カード等）の原本をご提出いただきます。

Delivery of Results/結果送付

• The examination report and image CD–R will be sent to the designated inbound service company. Please inform us in advance whether you prefer Japanese or English.
• It takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks for our hospital to send the report to the inbound service company. Additional time may be required for translation or other procedures handled by the service company.

• 検査後の結果報告書、画像CD–Rの送付は、ご指定のインバウンド事業会社へ送付します。
  あらかじめ日本語もしくは英語の希望をお伝えください。
• 検査結果報告書は、当院からインバウンド事業会社へお送りするまで3～4週間かかります。なお、その他、インバウンド事業会社の手続き（翻訳等）は別に時間を要します。

Other Information/その他

• If you have any religious considerations (e.g., preference for a female doctor), please inform us in advance.

• 宗教上、病院に配慮してほしいことは必ず事前にお知らせください。（女性医師希望等）

Important Notes/注意事項

Our hospital may decline MR or colon examinations depending on your physical condition.
Please carefully review the conditions for each test, including the use of sedatives.
If the examination is intended as a preliminary test for stem cell treatment, please note that inability to perform the test on the day may affect the start of treatment.

当院の人間ドックは、お体事情でMR検査や大腸検査をお断りする場合もございます。
お体事情や当院の検査条件、鎮静剤使用条件など、十分にご確認をお願いいたします。
幹細胞治療のための事前の検査となりますと、当日検査できないことが、幹細胞の治療開始に影響がある場合ございます。

【About MR Examinations/MR検査について】

• For safety reasons (e.g., prevention of burns), MR examinations cannot be performed on individuals with:
  Pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cochlear implants, magnetic dental implants or orthodontic devices, pregnancy or possible pregnancy, magnetic prosthetic eyes, tattoos, etc.
  MR examinations may also be unavailable for individuals with:
  History of brain or heart surgery, endoscopic hemostatic clips, or severe claustrophobia
  *Please remove dentures, wigs, colored contact lenses, glitter makeup, and nail polish before the examination.

• 熱傷予防など安全確保のため、以下の方はMRの検査ができません。
  心臓ペースメーカー、植込型除細動器、人口内耳、歯科治療(マグネット式インプラント・歯列矯正中)
  妊娠や妊娠の可能性がある
  義眼(マグネット式）、刺青など
• 以下の方はMR検査ができない可能性があります。
  脳や心臓の手術・処置や内視鏡下止血クリップをしたことがある方、
  重度な閉所恐怖症の方
  ※検査の際は入れ歯・かつら・カラーコンタクト・ラメの入った化粧、(ネイル含む)は取っておく必要があります。

【About Those Who May Not Be Eligible for Full Colon Examination/全大腸の検査の実施ができない可能性がある方について】

• Individuals with systolic blood pressure of 130 or higher, or diastolic pressure of 100 or higher
• If constipation prevents safe examination
• If abdominal adhesions due to past surgery, make the procedure difficult

• 血圧が上の血圧130以上または下の血圧100以上の方
• 便通が悪く安全に検査を実施できないと判断した場合。
• お腹の手術などで癒着などがあり実施が難しいと判断した場合。
