Meals for Individuals with Dietary Restrictions Due to Religious Beliefs or Other Reasons

At our hospital, we make every reasonable effort to accommodate patients who have dietary restrictions due to religious beliefs, personal convictions, cultural backgrounds, or other reasons.

While we do not use specially processed ingredients (such as halal-certified products), we can provide meal modifications equivalent to those offered for patients with food allergies.
This includes the complete exclusion of specific ingredients, including extracts and broths, for foods that cannot be consumed for religious reasons, such as pork, beef, or alcohol.

If you would like such accommodations, please inform a member of our staff. A registered dietitian will meet with you individually to discuss your dietary needs.

Please note that we do not have dedicated kitchens, cooking utensils, or tableware for the preparation of religiously restricted meals.

All tableware is cleaned and heat-sanitized in accordance with the Manual for Hygiene Management of Mass Catering Facilities issued in Japan.

If you have any questions regarding the exclusion of allergenic foods or other dietary requirements, our registered dietitian will be happy to discuss your needs individually.

Please do not hesitate to speak with a member of our staff.
