To ensure the highest quality of medical care for all patients, our hospital is regularly accredited by both local and international bodies.

Joint Commission International (JCI)
This accreditation ensures that our hospital meets the highest international standards for medical care.

The assessment is carried out every three years by the Joint Commission International, which is the not-for-profit branch of The Joint Commission, the leading health care accreditor in the United States. In March 2011, our hospital became the first hospital in Tokyo to receive this accreditation.

JCI is the recognized global leader in healthcare accreditation, and the assessment process provides an objective assessment of quality achievement, patient care and safety. In order to achieve JCI accreditation, the hospital must pass a rigorous inspection that examines some 1,200 areas of their operations.

Japan Medical Service Accreditation for International Patients (JMIP)
This accreditation ensures that our hospital provides the highest level of support to patients from international backgrounds.

The JMIP accreditation system has been established as a part of a national project which promotes smooth acceptance of international patients in Japanese medical settings. The Japan Medical Education Foundation evaluates the institution’s capability of accepting international patients, through both a document and on-site survey.

Japan International Hospitals
This accreditation attests to our hospitals efforts to accept inbound medical travelers from overseas.

This accreditation is carried out by Medical Excellence Japan, which assesses the hospital’s quality of care and ability to provide safe treatment to patients from overseas.
