In addition to providing patients with comprehensive and continuous medical care, we will provide general medical care that is more closely tailored to their diversifying lifestyles. In addition, we started a General Medicine Specialist Training Program in April 2023.\n    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"underline\">2.Policy<\/h2>\n<p>We live our daily lives while experiencing a lot of stress in various social backgrounds, such as diversified lifestyles and values, declining birthrates, and an aging society. Having a physical disorder in addition to these factors may lead to increased stress and worry.<br \/>\nThe General Medicine not only provides appropriate diagnosis and treatment for these patients but also aims to provide medical care while addressing their pain and anxiety.\n<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"underline\">3.Features<\/h2>\n<h3>Comprehensive and Seamless Medical Care<\/h3>\n<p>The General Medicine is responsible for the care of general outpatients as well as inpatients.<br \/>\nFor both outpatients and inpatients, we determines the final treatment policy in consultation with the patient and their family, and, if necessary, by working with organ-specific departments.<br \/>\nOur department is staffed by qualified physicians, including specialists in general internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and cancer pharmacotherapy, as well as supervising physicians in geriatrics and general hospital medicine.<br \/>\nIn 2022, medical oncologists with experience in general medicine joined the department, enabling it to accept outpatients from the Outpatient Medical Oncology. With some of our physicians having extensive overseas experience, we are dedicated not only to medical practice but also to education.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not sure about which department to go to<\/li>\n<li>Not diagnosed in other hospitals<\/li>\n<li>Development of multiple symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Common health problems, such as abdominal pain, common cold, and fever, which require urgent care\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any of the above symptoms or concerns, please consider visiting the General Medicine.<\/p>\n<h3>Examples of medical treatment<\/h3>\n<p>Acute pyelonephritis, aspiration pneumonia, community-acquired pneumonia, sepsis, fever of unknown origin, dehydration, polymyalgia rheumatica, syphilis, low back pain compression fracture, heart failure, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic syndrome, cutaneous sarcoidosis, ANCA-associated vasculitis, pseudogout, alcohol withdrawal, dog bite, and many others.<\/p>\n<h2>Message for Our Patients<\/h2>\n<p>Outpatient services are available by appointment only for both initial and follow-up visits.
